The Home Page within Oval Administration has been designed to provide a summary of some of the key information that has been setup as well as a panel displaying recent activity.
Entities
Entities are displayed, the record type, parent entity and the default currency code. This information is input via the Entities tab which can also be accessed via this panel by clicking on the entity name or ‘All’.
An Entity is a record type of either Company or Department. Further information on how to set these up can be found in the Entities section.
Posting Rules
Posting Rules are displayed, the record type, order, company entity, product, status, debit ledger account, credit ledger account and tax rate. This information is input via the Posting Rules tab which can also be accessed by clicking on the posting rule name or ‘All’.
A Posting Rule is a record type of either Entity, Bank Account, Product or Tax Rate. Further information on how to set these up can be found in the Posting Rules section.
Automation Rules
Automation Rules are displayed, the accounting journal template, recurrence type, status and created date. This information is input via the Automation Rules tab which can also be accessed by clicking on the automation rule name or ‘All’.
Also displayed on the Home page is the Accounting Robot Status which updates IsCurrent flag on EntityFinancialYear and EntityAccountingPeriod based on the current date. If a FY or EAP change has occurred then Account Reporting Statistics are recalculated for all Customers with a transaction for the Company Entity.
Recent records viewed and recent item complete the homepage.
